After 11 minutes of play, Tikken en weg's Jos Van der Goten made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerard Delamenin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Felix Uijterhove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerard Delamenin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tikken en weg's Jos Van der Goten shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Jos Van der Goten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Delamenin having to interfere. Jerom Fondria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gerard Delamenin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Jos Van der Goten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tikken en weg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jos Van der Goten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Abraham Dewulf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KV Club Brugge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tikken en weg the free kick. In the 43rd minute, one of KV Club Brugge:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KV Club Brugge. The KV Club Brugge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tikken en weg were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jos Van der Goten was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Gerard Delamenin managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Tikken en weg's Jos Van der Goten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jos Van der Goten got free with Gerard Delamenin in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jos Van der Goten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Gerard Delamenin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jerom Fondria kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Felix Uijterhove managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tikken en weg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Uijterhove was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Tikken en weg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KV Club Brugge throughout the match.
