The supporters of RFC Boeboe booed when Berlaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Pellegrims didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Joeri Gijselinx from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Jim Vervoort's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Harold De Swert kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, RFC Boeboe's Joeri Gijselinx tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Rudy Vandenbosch fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berlaar's protests and gave Rudy Vandenbosch a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Berlaar got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Vandenbosch. In the 10thth minute of the game Dennis Van Der Heijden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berlaar's Jim Vervoort was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Josef Denturck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael de Reyck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berlaar's Jim Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Van Der Heijden in the 21st minute of play. Sam-Lucas Van Dessel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Vervoort having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, RFC Boeboe's Dennis Van Der Heijden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jim Vervoort narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind RFC Boeboe's goalkeeper Josef Denturck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudy Vandenbosch got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Michael de Reyck took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josef Denturck. Josef Denturck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Dennis Van Der Heijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Van Der Heijden struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jim Vervoort didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RFC Boeboe. A collision led to Berlaar getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Artuur Scherens hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes, RFC Boeboe's Joeri Gijselinx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jim Vervoort came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RFC Boeboe reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Dennis Van Der Heijden made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Berlaar defense, Dennis Van Der Heijden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Vervoort. The Berlaar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Vervoort should have stopped the shot. If Joannes Tubbackx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jules Engelberchs hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience cheered when Joeri Gijselinx's long shot passed Jim Vervoort's right side. It was 2-1, 61 minutes into the match. When Dennis Van Der Heijden fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RFC Boeboe's protests and gave Dennis Van Der Heijden a yellow card for diving instead. Josef Denturck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael de Reyck in the 66th minute. In the 77th play minute Michael de Reyck came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josef Denturck. 2-2. Michael de Reyck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Josef Denturck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Sam-Lucas Van Dessel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RFC Boeboe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam-Lucas Van Dessel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Sam-Lucas Van Dessel managed to get in a good position for a shot. RFC Boeboe's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam-Lucas Van Dessel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Vervoort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sam-Lucas Van Dessel might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Vervoort. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sam-Lucas Van Dessel ran back to his position shaking his head. Dennis Van Der Heijden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jim Vervoort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
