In the 8th minute, Sam-Lucas Van Dessel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Van Der Heijden in the 10th minute of play forced Bijvoorde's goalkeeper Bernt Decremer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Van Der Heijden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bernt Decremer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dennis Van Der Heijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Dennis Van Der Heijden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Decremer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Decremer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Van Der Heijden, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Sam-Lucas Van Dessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Isaac Maertens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bijvoorde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Maertens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josef Denturck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Maertens went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bernt Decremer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Van Der Heijden in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Bijvoorde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivier Armentier to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, RFC Boeboe's Joeri Gijselinx broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steff Holemans made a kick off. Josef Denturck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steff Holemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bijvoorde's zone, Dennis Van Der Heijden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernt Decremer came out of the goal and Dennis Van Der Heijden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Maertens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Denturck having to interfere. Simon Van Severen kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Steff Holemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Henrik Uyttebroeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Josef Denturck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Bijvoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Van Der Heijden came free, but Bernt Decremer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
