Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jannes Stoffels kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Jannes Stoffels put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh. Frank Lanphant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Walter Van Kamp sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vereeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jannes Stoffels scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Jannes Stoffels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jannes Stoffels in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh saved Speurdonk from getting behind. If Edward Vereeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SK Erwetegem fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when SK Erwetegem's Edward Vereeken looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 43 played minutes SK Erwetegem got a freekick which was hit by Jannes Stoffels. Speurdonk's Walter Van Kamp got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Binjamin Musseeuw to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Walter Van Kamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Lanphant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Walter Van Kamp put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Lanphant. Edward Vereeken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh having to interfere. Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannes Stoffels, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henri-Patrick Verdun during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Speurdonk booed when SK Erwetegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henri-Patrick Verdun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jannes Stoffels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Vereeken's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 70th minute, but Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Speurdonk hanging dry this time. Edward Vereeken struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Erwetegem. If Edward Vereeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Speurdonk's Willy Nelleboedske got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Jannes Stoffels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Erwetegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jannes Stoffels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Vereeken came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh could save by the left post. Jannes Stoffels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jannes Stoffels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Edward Vereeken managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Erwetegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vereeken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jannes Stoffels came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the SK Erwetegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jannes Stoffels couldn't finish the play. Enzo Van den Maegdenbergh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannes Stoffels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SK Erwetegem's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
