Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tran De Scheper kicked off to start the match. Greg De Tapp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Van Clijnebreugel having to interfere. Claus Verschelde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven De Mare's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruud Van Gijsel during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ruud Van Gijsel hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Claus Verschelde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thobias De Jaeger, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Tran De Scheper took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cederik Van Clijnebreugel to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruud Van Gijsel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cederik Van Clijnebreugel. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. When Greg De Tapp came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Selange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greg De Tapp couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, KAA Moorsel's goal looked a bit too open when Tran De Scheper came free, but Cederik Van Clijnebreugel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steven De Mare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Verschelde having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steven De Mare to strike the kick off in the second half. Greg De Tapp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cederik Van Clijnebreugel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, KAA Moorsel's goal looked a bit too open when Tran De Scheper came free, but Cederik Van Clijnebreugel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg De Tapp in the 56th minute of play forced KAA Moorsel's goalkeeper Cederik Van Clijnebreugel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Bernard Waron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selange's Claus Verschelde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven De Mare in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Roderik Huijbregs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claus Verschelde skillfully saved the ball. Greg De Tapp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cederik Van Clijnebreugel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Greg De Tapp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cederik Van Clijnebreugel. KAA Moorsel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Greg De Tapp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Greg De Tapp came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Selange fans jumped to their feet. Jordy De Maijer kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bernard Waron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selange's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Waron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cederik Van Clijnebreugel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th match minute, KAA Moorsel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudewijn Van Meerbeeck to maneuver through the defense. Tran De Scheper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Van Clijnebreugel having to interfere. Bernard Waron hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Bass Cornelis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Selange's Claus Verschelde didn't even have to move. Selange's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
