Rudi Klinkenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Van Clijnebreugel having to interfere. After 8 played minutes KAA Moorsel got a freekick which was hit by Renaut De Hooge. Balthazar Postens's late challenge caught a KAA Moorsel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balthazar Postens helped the player get up and apologised. Balthazar Postens kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, KAA Moorsel's goalkeeper Cederik Van Clijnebreugel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudi Klinkenberg. Thobias De Jaeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Steven De Mare elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jeremey Verhaghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven De Mare in the 26th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Steven De Mare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jeremey Verhaghen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Olympia Beerschot 13's goal looked a bit too open when Steven De Mare came free, but Jeremey Verhaghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, KAA Moorsel's goalkeeper Cederik Van Clijnebreugel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudi Klinkenberg. Rudi Klinkenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Van Clijnebreugel having to interfere. Dolf Van de Loock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven De Mare to make the kick off. Steven De Mare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes KAA Moorsel got a freekick which was hit by Boudewijn Van Meerbeeck. Thobias De Jaegers short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jeremey Verhaghen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute Steven De Mare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremey Verhaghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremey Verhaghen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven De Mare in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Rudi Klinkenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Van Clijnebreugel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes, Roderik Huijbregs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAA Moorsel and the Olympia Beerschot 13 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Steven De Mare struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jeremey Verhaghen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Moorsel. Cederik Van Clijnebreugel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudi Klinkenberg in the 91st minute of the match. In the 97th minute Dolf Van de Loock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Van Clijnebreugel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KAA Moorsel played a much better game than Olympia Beerschot 13 and deserved their victory. The Olympia Beerschot 13 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
