Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Valckx started the match with the kick off. Nederename's Etienne De Raemaekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Valckx in the 4th minute of play. Etienne De Raemaekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Valckx in the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nederename's zone, Yoachim Van Bettenrode stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Etienne De Raemaekers came out of the goal and Yoachim Van Bettenrode tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Valckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Etienne De Raemaekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Octaaf Ombelets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Valckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne De Raemaekers having to interfere. In the 21st minute Frank Valckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etienne De Raemaekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yoachim Van Bettenrode sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Valckx in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Etienne De Raemaekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoachim Van Bettenrode in the 29th minute of play forced Nederename's goalkeeper Etienne De Raemaekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Simon Coveliers's late challenge caught a Nederename's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Simon Coveliers helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nederename booed when SC Brussels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Simon Coveliers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Luukas Dams could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Jannis Ivens however easily saved by the left post. Rafael Gobeleyns hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Frank Valckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, Nederename was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Walder to maneuver through the defense. The goalkeeper, Jannis Ivens, was totally fooled by Nederename's Guillaume Hoes, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Luukas Dams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannis Ivens having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tran Ilegems in the 55th minute of play forced SC Brussels's goalkeeper Jannis Ivens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Rob Liboton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nederename fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 61 minutes of play, Nederename's Luukas Dams made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jannis Ivens was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th match minute, SC Brussels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Simon Coveliers to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Nederename's Guillaume Hoes tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Nederename got a freekick which was hit by Luukas Dams. After having played for 75 minutes, Yoachim Van Bettenrode managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Brussels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yoachim Van Bettenrode was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, SC Brussels's Qwinten Van Meel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Etienne De Raemaekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Frank Valckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Etienne De Raemaekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoachim Van Bettenrode went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Frank Valckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Etienne De Raemaekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Etienne De Raemaekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoachim Van Bettenrode in the 90th minute.
