Philippeville's Dany Van De Wijngaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Bedts in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Christofere Wauters recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anthoon Engelborghs. Christofere Wauters showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Philippeville's William Gobelijns sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthoon Engelborghs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anthoon Engelborghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christofere Wauters in the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Philippeville's William Gobelijns dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, Verlaine's Marco van Bedts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dany Van De Wijngaert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
