The audience was convinced that Bastiaan Claes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavier Bauwmans was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Xavier Bauwmans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bastiaan Claes's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sebastian Hennes managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB BRUGGE's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Hennes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Roeckeloes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matteo Gelens kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Michael vrolijx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Roeckeloes having to interfere. Zingem All Star's Tim Roeckeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Hennes in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute Sebastian Hennes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Sebastian Hennes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Roeckeloes. Zingem All Star's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Hennes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 46th minute Bastiaan Claes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Bauwmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Hennes was the one to do the kick off. Michael vrolijx struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tim Roeckeloes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB BRUGGE. A collision led to CLUB BRUGGE getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Arthur Van Mellaert hit a great ball. Octaaf Uytterhaegen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Achilles Smits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the CLUB BRUGGE defense, Octaaf Uytterhaegen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Bauwmans. The CLUB BRUGGE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Bauwmans should have stopped the shot. Michael vrolijx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Tim Roeckeloes made a huge save. Lode Gyselincx's late challenge caught a CLUB BRUGGE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lode Gyselincx helped the player get up and apologised. Xavier Bauwmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octaaf Uytterhaegen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Tim Roeckeloes made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Michael vrolijx sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the game, Zingem All Star's Bastiaan Claes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xavier Bauwmans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Zingem All Star's Tim Roeckeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Hennes in the 93rd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Jorg Hagemans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zingem All Star's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLUB BRUGGE the free kick. After 93 played minutes Zingem All Star got a freekick which was hit by Jorg Hagemans. After 95 minutes of play, CLUB BRUGGE's Michael vrolijx made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Roeckeloes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
