When Jean Laremans came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FC Ernonheid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Laremans couldn't finish the play. Fabrice Rijmenans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 played minutes VC Perwez got a freekick which was hit by Wesly Wolfdoncx. After having played for 13 minutes, Jean Laremans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ernonheid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Laremans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Ernonheid booed when VC Perwez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe-Arnaud Parmentier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Wesly Wolfdoncx made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ernonheid's Anton Van der Sande tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. VC Perwez's Wesly Wolfdoncx got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Heirpoel might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Van der Sande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Heirpoel ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, VC Perwez's Philippe-Arnaud Parmentier got a free kick in the 24th minute. VC Perwez were furious when Adolphe Conincx was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in VC Perwez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Vincent Mathy tried in the game's 41st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Anton Van der Sande. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. Anton Van der Sande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesly Wolfdoncx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean Laremans to strike the kick off in the second half. Anton Van der Sande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesly Wolfdoncx in the 57th minute of play. VC Perwez's Philippe-Arnaud Parmentier got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wesly Wolfdoncx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remy Vrijdag during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mike Van Boxstael charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mike Van Boxstael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mike Van Boxstael kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Billie Van Den Brande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Anton Van der Sande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Philippe-Arnaud Parmentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Ernonheid getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Luk Bastin hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, VC Perwez's Geoffrey Mesmaekers broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Peter Vanden Berghe kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Anton Van der Sande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesly Wolfdoncx in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luk Bastin during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geoffrey Mesmaekers, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wesly Wolfdoncx struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Anton Van der Sande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Perwez. Wesly Wolfdoncx scored 3-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Van der Sande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
