Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pierre-Alexandre Van Riel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Reemy Tobbackers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. George De Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benoit Le Lion struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jozef Schrevens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Amelsdorp. In the 12th minute Pierre-Alexandre Van Riel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Schrevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jozef Schrevens came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Amelsdorp's Benoit Le Lion. But to his dismay, Benoit Le Lion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. George De Meyer was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Reemy Tobbackers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reemy Tobbackers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Virelles's Reemy Tobbackers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 28th minute, Pierre-Alexandre Van Riel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Amelsdorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Reemy Tobbackers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Alexandre Van Riel couldn't finish the play. Jacque Raedemaeckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. George De Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Reemy Tobbackers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virelles's supporters rose to their feet, but Reemy Tobbackers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George De Meyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, George De Meyer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reemy Tobbackers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. George De Meyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacque Raedemaeckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Reemy Tobbackers notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of SK Amelsdorp's George De Meyer. George De Meyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benoit Le Lion got free with Jozef Schrevens in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George De Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacque Raedemaeckers in the 66th minute of the match. Pierre-Alexandre Van Riel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jozef Schrevens having to make a save. The supporters of SK Amelsdorp booed when Virelles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert-Jan De Keijsere didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Virelles's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Alexandre Van Riel came free, but Jozef Schrevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Delen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Benoit Le Lion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Pierre-Alexandre Van Riel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Schrevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jozef Schrevens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Alexandre Van Riel in the 97th minute of play. SK Amelsdorp's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
