Jasper Beckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Van der Roost in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steffen De Spiegeleire was the one to do the kick off. If Steffen De Spiegeleire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes of play, Wolvendaal's Steffen De Spiegeleire made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jim Gillekens was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Andrew Hylen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Jean-Louis Valckeners was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolvendaal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gallaix the free kick.
