Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Klaus Deroek fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RAEC Mons's protests and gave Klaus Deroek a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to RAEC Mons getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Klaus Deroek hit a great ball. The supporters of RAEC Mons booed when Spruithoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitri Kloots didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jannick Henskens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenz Van den Berch in the 10th minute of the match. If William Render had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in RAEC Mons's zone, William Render stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanne Du Bois came out of the goal and William Render tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to RAEC Mons getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ronald Vervoort hit a great ball. When Ben Van hoegaerde came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Spruithoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Van hoegaerde couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes Spruithoek got a freekick which was hit by Charles-Antoine Goos. Ronald Vervoort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jannick Henskens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29th play minutes Ronald Vervoort shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jannick Henskens and just under the crossbar into goal. Yanne Du Bois didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Ben Van hoegaerde struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Yanne Du Bois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spruithoek. When William Render came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Spruithoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Render couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gino Pellegrims during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gino Pellegrims hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Ben Van hoegaerde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RAEC Mons's Yanne Du Bois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Render in the 53rd minute of play. Lorenz Van den Berch might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannick Henskens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenz Van den Berch ran back to his position shaking his head. RAEC Mons's Ronald Vervoort got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, RAEC Mons's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Van hoegaerde came free, but Yanne Du Bois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spruithoek's Jannick Henskens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Vervoort in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Rolf De Winter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yanne Du Bois skillfully saved the ball. If William Render had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, RAEC Mons's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Van hoegaerde came free, but Yanne Du Bois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spruithoek's William Render got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ronald Vervoort managed to get in a good position for a shot. RAEC Mons's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Vervoort was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannick Henskens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If William Render had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yanne Du Bois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Van hoegaerde in the 86th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitri Kloots during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Spruithoek getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dimitri Kloots hit a great ball. Yanne Du Bois came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Spruithoek's Ben Van hoegaerde. But to his dismay, Ben Van hoegaerde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Lorenz Van den Berch came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jannick Henskens could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Spruithoek had won after a very even match.
