Dany-Adams Dockx started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Senne Verhaghen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rolf Heers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dany-Adams Dockx in the 19th minute of the match. If Dany-Adams Dockx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Engelbeek's Marco Delcomte got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ive Loozen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dre Lefevre having to interfere. Yves Van Beringen hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rolf Heers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Senne Verhaghen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute, David Baboeuf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Landegem eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
