Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bastian Gilis kicked off to start the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Overhespen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Engelbeek a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Waud Bossuyt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Overhespen's Fernand Langendonckx. 0-1. Fernand Langendonckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Delcomte, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Engelbeek's goalkeeper Rolf Heers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ive Loozen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernand Langendonckx having to interfere. If Adolf Van der Vloedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Ive Loozen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Engelbeek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rolf Heers came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Overhespen's Bastian Gilis. But to his dismay, Bastian Gilis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Engelbeek's Rolf Heers got control of the ball when Marc Laporte tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dyllan Van Castel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolf Heers. That made the score 2-2 in the 42 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Marco Delcomte fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 59th minute, Bastian Gilis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolf Heers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bastian Gilis's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Bastian Gilis scored 3-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolf Heers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Engelbeek's Ive Loozen got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Engelbeek's zone, Marc Laporte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Heers came out of the goal and Marc Laporte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bastian Gilis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rolf Heers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Bastian Gilis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Overhespen's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastian Gilis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Heers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Overhespen booed when Engelbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Henrix didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marc Laporte in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolf Heers saved Engelbeek from getting behind. Overhespen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Engelbeek for a fine match.
