Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Gregoire Rauvoets got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Uilenberg's Cederik Rombouts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Uilenberg from getting a goal against them. Bob Weygaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Rombouts having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Roderik Smolders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bob Weygaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Gregoire Rauvoets fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gregoire Rauvoets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cederik Rombouts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Arno Lambrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregoire Rauvoets was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Team Vellie's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Freek Van der Weijden's late challenge caught a Team Vellie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freek Van der Weijden helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Uilenberg getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Freek Van der Weijden hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Bob Weygaers took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cederik Rombouts to make any attempt to save it. If Wout Berchmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Gregoire Rauvoets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 played minutes Uilenberg got a freekick which was hit by Freek Van der Weijden. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uilenberg's goalkeeper Cederik Rombouts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregoire Rauvoets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Uilenberg defense, Bob Weygaers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cederik Rombouts. The Uilenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cederik Rombouts should have stopped the shot. Uilenberg's Cederik Rombouts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Weygaers in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Uilenberg getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Martin Lambert hit a great ball. Yanniek Van Bettenrode took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cederik Rombouts. Uilenberg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bob Weygaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cederik Rombouts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cederik Rombouts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Weygaers in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roderik Smolders in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cederik Rombouts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cederik Rombouts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Weygaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Uilenberg's Bastian Vorster got a free kick in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Team Vellie had played much better football throughout.
