The score was now 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, FC Schaatsertje's goal looked a bit too open when Paul-Louis Cesters came free, but Tommy Van Hespen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Sylvan Vergouwen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AÇO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvan Vergouwen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Jarne Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 played minutes FC Schaatsertje got a freekick which was hit by Jarne Martin. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel De Wortelaers made a kick off. In the 59thth minute of the game Viktor Vansteenbrugge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Schaatsertje's Tommy Van Hespen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Vansteenbrugge in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Van Hespen saved FC Schaatsertje from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel De Wortelaers in the 68th minute of play forced AÇO's goalkeeper Frederic De Keuster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, FC Schaatsertje's goal looked a bit too open when Brent Soetemans came free, but Tommy Van Hespen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sylvan Vergouwen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylvan Vergouwen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Van Hespen having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, FC Schaatsertje's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Vansteenbrugge came free, but Tommy Van Hespen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Van Hespen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Vansteenbrugge in the 89th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Viktor Vansteenbrugge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Schaatsertje's Tommy Van Hespen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sylvan Vergouwen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Van Hespen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 100 minutes into the match, FC Schaatsertje's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Vansteenbrugge came free, but Tommy Van Hespen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AÇO had won after a very even match.
