An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibaut Schol in the 3rd minute of play forced RSC Adegem's goalkeeper Adolf Van Haerschot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, RSC Adegem's goal looked a bit too open when Mattheo Van den Berch came free, but Adolf Van Haerschot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattheo Van den Berch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolf Van Haerschot having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tibaut Schol in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolf Van Haerschot saved RSC Adegem from getting behind. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mattheo Van den Berch sped through RSC Adegem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adolf Van Haerschot. When Tibaut Schol came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Vaux-Et-Borset fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibaut Schol couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the game, Remie Van Adorp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RSC Adegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaux-Et-Borset the free kick. After a rather tough play, RSC Adegem's Remie Van Adorp got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Sander Haelemans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolf Van Haerschot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Vaux-Et-Borset's Lennert Spoelberch got control of the ball when Luk Van de Poel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emmanuel Van den Sande hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Adolf Van Haerschot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibaut Schol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Axel van haeve fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSC Adegem's protests and gave Axel van haeve a yellow card for diving instead. Axel van haeve kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Mark Gijselinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RSC Adegem's Adolf Van Haerschot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibaut Schol in the 39th minute of play. Adolf Van Haerschot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibaut Schol in the 44th minute of the match. Vaux-Et-Borset's Jim Gijselinkx got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Mark Gijselinx made a precise shot to the right of Lennert Spoelberch. Vaux-Et-Borset's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tibaut Schol in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adolf Van Haerschot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Vaux-Et-Borset booed when RSC Adegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matteo Pellegrims didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattheo Van den Berch struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Adolf Van Haerschot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaux-Et-Borset. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tibaut Schol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaux-Et-Borset's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibaut Schol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolf Van Haerschot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mattheo Van den Berch struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Adolf Van Haerschot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaux-Et-Borset.
