Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfons Kerkhove got the match started through his kick off. Alfons Kerkhove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Lennert Spoelberch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Bernt Blomme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, RS oostnieuwkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Mattheo Van den Berch came free, but Maurus Koppens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Pieterjan Vleminx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RS oostnieuwkerke and the Vaux-Et-Borset players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Pieterjan Vleminx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurus Koppens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattheo Van den Berch, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Tibaut Schol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Maurus Koppens made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Robbrecht Van Craen managed to get in a good position for a shot. RS oostnieuwkerke's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbrecht Van Craen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennert Spoelberch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in RS oostnieuwkerke's zone, Mattheo Van den Berch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurus Koppens came out of the goal and Mattheo Van den Berch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattheo Van den Berch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurus Koppens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. RS oostnieuwkerke's Maurus Koppens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save RS oostnieuwkerke from getting a goal against them. Lennert Spoelberch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbrecht Van Craen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Mattheo Van den Berch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurus Koppens. The goal made the score 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattheo Van den Berch to strike the kick off in the second half. If Robbrecht Van Craen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to RS oostnieuwkerke getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Karel-Jan Van Langhendoncx hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Vaux-Et-Borset's Sander Haelemans tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tibaut Schol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurus Koppens having to interfere. If Robbrecht Van Craen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 77th minute of the match Pieterjan Vleminx completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pieterjan Vleminx a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mattheo Van den Berch got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Maurus Koppens handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Tibaut Schol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Mattheo Van den Berch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaux-Et-Borset's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattheo Van den Berch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurus Koppens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 played minutes RS oostnieuwkerke got a freekick which was hit by Geert Lejeune. Denis Leempoels's late challenge caught a Vaux-Et-Borset's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Leempoels helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RS oostnieuwkerke's Denis Leempoels got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbrecht Van Craen in the 95th minute of play forced Vaux-Et-Borset's goalkeeper Lennert Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes of play, Vaux-Et-Borset's Tibaut Schol made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurus Koppens was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vaux-Et-Borset fans cheered their team off the field, for while RS oostnieuwkerke had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
