Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jerry Gyselinckx made the kick off and thus started the match. Steve Pelleman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonatan De Raemaekers in the 4th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Leo Van Landschoot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giles Rondou saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joonatan De Raemaekers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Steve Pelleman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joonatan De Raemaekers came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the KSV As fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joonatan De Raemaekers couldn't finish the play. Steve Pelleman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Vercalsteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Joonatan De Raemaekers struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Steve Pelleman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV As. After having played for 33 minutes, Joonatan De Raemaekers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV As's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joonatan De Raemaekers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giles Rondou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Gyselinckx in the 48th minute of play forced KSV As's goalkeeper Giles Rondou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Manu Goemyne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giles Rondou having to interfere. KSV As's Giles Rondou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Gyselinckx in the 53rd minute of play. Giles Rondou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Gyselinckx's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as KSV As's Paul De Vadder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Steve Pelleman. That made the score 0-1 after 58 minutes of play. With his leg Steve Pelleman managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when KSV As's Vince Vercalsteren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. KSV As's Vince Vercalsteren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 64th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Joonatan De Raemaekers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RACING BRUSSELS's Steve Pelleman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save RACING BRUSSELS from getting a goal against them. Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Giles Rondou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giles Rondou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, KSV As was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul De Vadder to maneuver through the defense. Vince Vercalsteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Pelleman having to interfere. The supporters of KSV As booed when RACING BRUSSELS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manu Goemyne didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, KSV As's Paul De Vadder got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
