Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SK Kolegem were furious when Jannick Verdonckt was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 3rd minute, one of SK Kolegem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SK Kolegem. The referee gave RACING BRUSSELS a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Augustijn Deville, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SK Kolegem's Lennart Vincke. 0-1. Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Gyselinckx in the 11th minute of play forced SK Kolegem's goalkeeper Lennart Vincke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, SK Kolegem's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Gyselinckx came free, but Lennart Vincke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes in the game, Antonio Koninkx dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, SK Kolegem's goal looked a bit too open when Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck came free, but Lennart Vincke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Manu Goemyne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Kolegem's Lennart Vincke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Antonio Koninkx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Kolegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Koninkx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lennart Vincke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Gyselinckx in the 38th minute of play forced SK Kolegem's goalkeeper Lennart Vincke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matty Loremans's late challenge caught a RACING BRUSSELS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matty Loremans helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RACING BRUSSELS booed when SK Kolegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matty Loremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Antonio Koninkx got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Vincke having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Koninkx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Niels Standaerts fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Kolegem's protests and gave Niels Standaerts a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SK Kolegem getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Niels Standaerts hit a great ball. Jerry Gyselinckx received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lennart Vincke came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerry Gyselinckx slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 54th minute. Antonio Koninkx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Steve Pelleman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SK Kolegem's Antonio Koninkx got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Koninkx in the 67th minute of play forced RACING BRUSSELS's goalkeeper Steve Pelleman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Antonio Koninkx managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Kolegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Koninkx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steve Pelleman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matty Loremans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SK Kolegem fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when SK Kolegem's Antonio Koninkx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Kristiaan Van Houdtvinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Pelleman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Koninkx in the 87th minute of play. Jerry Gyselinckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lennart Vincke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, RACING BRUSSELS's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Koninkx came free, but Steve Pelleman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
