In the 8th minute, Max Geeraerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, FC The Losers's Billy Vandommele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stephan Lannoye narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, FC The Losers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeoffrey Vermeulen to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC The Losers's zone, Max Geeraerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitry Cox came out of the goal and Max Geeraerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, KAA Jumet's Florian Elens got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Van Hinnendael during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joel Van Hinnendael kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dimitry Cox stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Geeraerts's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ronald Roukeloes struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Stephan Lannoye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC The Losers. Florian Elens kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Geeraerts in the 39th minute of play forced FC The Losers's goalkeeper Dimitry Cox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC The Losers's zone, Fre Reynders stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitry Cox came out of the goal and Fre Reynders tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stephan Lannoye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Vandommele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 49 minutes into the match, FC The Losers's goalkeeper Dimitry Cox had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fre Reynders.

Max Geeraerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitry Cox read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Jeoffrey Vermeulen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC The Losers and the KAA Jumet players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KAA Jumet booed when FC The Losers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeoffrey Vermeulen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoor Knockaert was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Billy Vandommele struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Stephan Lannoye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC The Losers. 77 minutes into the game, Lieven Aerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KAA Jumet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC The Losers the free kick. The supporters of FC The Losers booed when KAA Jumet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lieven Aerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Max Geeraerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitry Cox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Geeraerts in the 87th minute of the match. When Jeoffrey Vermeulen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. The supporters of KAA Jumet booed when FC The Losers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeoffrey Vermeulen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitry Cox made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Geeraerts in the 92nd minute of play. Isidoor Knockaert charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoor Knockaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Stephan Lannoye, was totally fooled by FC The Losers's Matthew Gilis, who 100 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. KAA Jumet were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
