Timy Huijgens might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitry Cox. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timy Huijgens ran back to his position shaking his head. After 20 played minutes FC The Losers got a freekick which was hit by Joel Van Hinnendael. After some careless play in the FC The Losers defense, Yoeri Koppens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitry Cox. The FC The Losers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitry Cox should have stopped the shot. A collision led to KSV Jabbeke getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Thobias Leers hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoeri Koppens in the 33rd minute of play forced FC The Losers's goalkeeper Dimitry Cox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KSV Jabbeke's Jeoffrey Dheedene got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Jeoffrey Vermeulen fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC The Losers's protests and gave Jeoffrey Vermeulen a yellow card for diving instead. Timy Huijgens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dimitry Cox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitry Cox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoeri Koppens, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Roukeloes made a kick off. If Yoeri Koppens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronald Roukeloes during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ronald Roukeloes hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Timy Huijgens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitry Cox having to interfere. Dyllen Stuycken hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Timy Huijgens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Jabbeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timy Huijgens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, KSV Jabbeke's Timy Huijgens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. With a little luck, FC The Losers's Dimitry Cox got control of the ball when Yoeri Koppens tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Dyllen Stuycken fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC The Losers's protests and gave Dyllen Stuycken a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Yoeri Koppens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
