Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jannis Renso took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne van Bedts in the 3rd minute of play forced AFC Pijnegem's goalkeeper Guust van Eijnde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Paschiers charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Paschiers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes FC. Pikolas got a freekick which was hit by Albert Paschiers. After 5th play minutes Jef Abrams shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Lou Van Leempoel and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 7th minute, Oliver Vleminx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Degens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Guust van Eijnde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lou Van Leempoel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jannis Renso's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. AFC Pijnegem's Guust van Eijnde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Pijnegem from getting a goal against them. Jannis Renso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lou Van Leempoel having to interfere. If Jannis Renso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jannis Renso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jannis Renso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lou Van Leempoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guust van Eijnde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Degens in the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Etienne van Bedts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC. Pikolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etienne van Bedts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half AFC Pijnegem were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mike Degens to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Degens in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guust van Eijnde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannis Renso in the 58th minute of play forced FC. Pikolas's goalkeeper Lou Van Leempoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Albert Paschiers made a precise shot to the right of Guust van Eijnde. AFC Pijnegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Pijnegem's goalkeeper Guust van Eijnde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mike Degens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guust van Eijnde having to interfere. A collision led to AFC Pijnegem getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Lex Sulems hit a great ball. Lou Van Leempoel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannis Renso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC. Pikolas's Gery Gobeleyns got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to AFC Pijnegem getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. George Coenens hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Degens in the 84th minute of play forced AFC Pijnegem's goalkeeper Guust van Eijnde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Mike Degens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Pijnegem's Guust van Eijnde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC. Pikolas's Etienne van Bedts got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes in the game, Jannis Renso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lou Van Leempoel having to interfere. Tijs De Cock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The AFC Pijnegem players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC. Pikolas from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
