Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Enzo De Cat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sylven Schuts having to make a save. Matthis Pelsers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gilliam Mattheijs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Stuiven's Sylven Schuts got control of the ball when Enzo De Cat tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo De Cat got free with Sylven Schuts in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Stuiven getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Michiel Petermans hit a great ball. If Enzo De Cat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute, Enzo De Cat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylven Schuts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Enzo De Cat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 44 minutes into the match, Dimitry den Pelsmaeker notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Stuiven's Sylven Schuts. Sylven Schuts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Michiel Petermans managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stuiven's supporters rose to their feet, but Michiel Petermans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilliam Mattheijs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yvan Selleslags made a kick off. If Carel Wijnants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. East-Flanders's Gilliam Mattheijs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save East-Flanders from getting a goal against them. Dominic Villyn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Gilliam Mattheijs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Enzo De Cat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylven Schuts having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michiel Petermans during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Stuiven getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Michiel Petermans hit a great ball. When Xander-Paul Manaers fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Stuiven's protests and gave Xander-Paul Manaers a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Stuiven fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for East-Flanders. Thierry Meynen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sylven Schuts. 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Stuiven's zone, Yvan Selleslags stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylven Schuts came out of the goal and Yvan Selleslags tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Yvan Selleslags made a precise shot to the right of Sylven Schuts. FC Stuiven's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Dirk Winnepenninckx hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Sylven Schuts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yvan Selleslags, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Enzo De Cat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthis Pelsers kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, FC Stuiven's goal looked a bit too open when Yvan Selleslags came free, but Sylven Schuts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthis Pelsers's late challenge caught a East-Flanders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthis Pelsers helped the player get up and apologised. Matthis Pelsers hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Enzo De Cat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East-Flanders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo De Cat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. East-Flanders fully deserved thier win.
