Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dreas Jonckers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5thth minute of the game Hendrik Klijnhens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Evergem's George Vrints was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Hendrik Klijnhens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KSV Chiny fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Evergem's George Vrints played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaud Van Meensel in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Hendrik Klijnhens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Vrints saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Vrints didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hendrik Klijnhens went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dreas Jonckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolphe van Hacht having to interfere. Jacobus Leemans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Adolphe van Hacht made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Evergem's Dreas Jonckers got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, KSV Chiny's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacobus Leemans fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Reinaud Van Meensel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Vrints having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Evergem's zone, Hendrik Klijnhens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Vrints came out of the goal and Hendrik Klijnhens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evergem's George Vrints played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Klijnhens in the 36th minute of play. George Vrints showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaud Van Meensel in the 37th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hendrik Klijnhens sped through Evergem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of George Vrints. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Reinaud Van Meensel made the kick off in the second half. George Vrints showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaud Van Meensel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. George Vrints made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Hendrik Klijnhens sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Dreas Jonckers put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Adolphe van Hacht. In the 71st minute, Reinaud Van Meensel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolphe van Hacht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dreas Jonckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnold Sanders kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Hendrik Klijnhens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaud Van Meensel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. George Vrints showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaud Van Meensel in the 90th minute of the match. Hendrik Klijnhens struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. George Vrints didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Chiny. The KSV Chiny players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
