Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorn Schoovaerts got the match started through his kick off. Herman Pelsers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernt Devaux hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Alexandre De Keijsere was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Jorn Schoovaerts capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorn Schoovaerts really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorg Cantillon during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Olivier Hemelsoet put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alexandre De Keijsere. In the 15thth minute of the game Olivier Hemelsoet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VC Denderleeuw's Alexandre De Keijsere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorn Schoovaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alexandre De Keijsere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Olivier Hemelsoet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sterrebeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olivier Hemelsoet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Devaux in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Bollaert saved Sterrebeek from getting behind. During the 31st minute of the match Jorg Cantillon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jorg Cantillon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, VC Denderleeuw's Jorg Cantillon got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, one of VC Denderleeuw:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Sterrebeek. Christoph De Weijngaert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alexandre De Keijsere. 3-0. After 38 played minutes VC Denderleeuw got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Van Gorpt. When Sterrebeek's Jorn Schoovaerts in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VC Denderleeuw's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandre De Keijsere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olivier Hemelsoet in the 43rd minute. Pierre Bollaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Pelsers in the 45th minute of play. Herman Pelsers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Herman Pelsers made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ruben Schoenmaekers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre Bollaert made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Herman Pelsers sent off a good shot on target. Olivier Hemelsoet kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jorn Schoovaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre De Keijsere having to interfere. Sterrebeek's Pierre Bollaert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Sterrebeek from getting a goal against them. If Olivier Hemelsoet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Olivier Hemelsoet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre De Keijsere was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Alexandre De Keijsere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Hemelsoet, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Jorn Schoovaerts came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Sterrebeek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorn Schoovaerts couldn't finish the play. A collision led to VC Denderleeuw getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bernt Devaux hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in VC Denderleeuw's zone, Olivier Hemelsoet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre De Keijsere came out of the goal and Olivier Hemelsoet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Olivier Hemelsoet made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre De Keijsere. VC Denderleeuw's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. VC Denderleeuw's Dany Van Impe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pierre Bollaert but with some difficulty. Alexandre De Keijsere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorn Schoovaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
