SK Vaul-Chavanne's Jeremey Cuppens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Van Campenhout in the 12th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jeremey Cuppens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeremey Cuppens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Van Campenhout in the 19th minute of the match. Andries Franckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephen De Raeijmaeker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, VC Caeskerke's Timy Wenderix got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Stephen De Raeijmaeker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gertjan Symons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfried Van Boxstael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jeremey Cuppens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremey Cuppens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Van Campenhout in the 37th minute of play. Gino Vos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Philip Van Campenhout to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Paul-Louis Dierickx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VC Caeskerke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Vaul-Chavanne the free kick. A collision led to VC Caeskerke getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Paul-Louis Dierickx hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen De Raeijmaeker in the 57th minute of play forced VC Caeskerke's goalkeeper Gertjan Symons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Van Campenhout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jeremey Cuppens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremey Cuppens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfried Van Boxstael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Gino Vos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Vaul-Chavanne's Jeremey Cuppens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Philip Van Campenhout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jeremey Cuppens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mickael Fouquet, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Philip Van Campenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Van Campenhout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When VC Caeskerke's Gino Vos in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Vaul-Chavanne's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Stephan De Raeve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Caeskerke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stephan De Raeve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thierry Kerstens hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Philip Van Campenhout might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremey Cuppens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Van Campenhout ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VC Caeskerke fans cheered their team off the field, for while SK Vaul-Chavanne had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
