Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jesse Poortmans started the match with the kick off. Jeremey Cuppens came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal F.C's Jesse Poortmans. But to his dismay, Jesse Poortmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Basiel Dobbeleir put in a rough tackle. 19 minutes into the game, one of SK Vaul-Chavanne:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute, Andries Franckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SK Vaul-Chavanne booed when Arsenal F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joris Rockeloos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremey Cuppens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesse Poortmans in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesse Poortmans in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremey Cuppens saved SK Vaul-Chavanne from getting behind. Herald Bastiaens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremey Cuppens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herald Bastiaens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SK Vaul-Chavanne players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal F.C were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Andries Franckx made the kick off in the second half. SK Vaul-Chavanne's Jeremey Cuppens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Poortmans in the 55th minute of play. Herald Bastiaens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 played minutes SK Vaul-Chavanne got a freekick which was hit by Nicky Kuppens. Jeremey Cuppens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herald Bastiaens in the 72nd minute. Jesse Poortmans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremey Cuppens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Jesse Poortmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joris Rockeloos in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremey Cuppens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Herald Bastiaens came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Arsenal F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herald Bastiaens couldn't finish the play. SK Vaul-Chavanne's Jeremey Cuppens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Poortmans in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Herald Bastiaens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Herald Bastiaens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herald Bastiaens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Arsenal F.C's Jesse Poortmans in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Vaul-Chavanne's goalie prevented a goal. Arsenal F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
