Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Christof De Malier came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Zemst's Brecht De Messemaecker. But to his dismay, Brecht De Messemaecker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Zemst's Adolphe Maerschalk got control of the ball when Yens Verdonckt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 played minutes Zemst got a freekick which was hit by Brecht De Messemaecker. If Pieter Vissenaekens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pieter Vissenaekens came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Stabroek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pieter Vissenaekens couldn't finish the play. Yens Verdonckt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Adolphe Maerschalk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Harold Vollens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolphe Maerschalk. The goal made the score 1-1. Pieterjan Schooters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christof De Malier having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pieter-Jan Valckenaerts during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pieter-Jan Valckenaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Yens Verdonckt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yens Verdonckt got free with Adolphe Maerschalk in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Brecht De Messemaecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dean Klijnhens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
In the 54th minute of the match Christoph De Koq shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolphe Maerschalk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 59 minutes, Jeoffrey Lefebre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zemst and the Stabroek players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Zemst got a freekick which was hit by Jeoffrey Lefebre. Yens Verdonckt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolphe Maerschalk having to interfere. Pieter Vissenaekens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Adolphe Maerschalk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Zemst's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter Vissenaekens came free, but Adolphe Maerschalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Yens Verdonckt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolphe Maerschalk was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Pieter Vissenaekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolphe Maerschalk having to interfere. If Pieter Vissenaekens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolphe Maerschalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yens Verdonckt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zemst's goalkeeper Adolphe Maerschalk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Yens Verdonckt put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adolphe Maerschalk. Adolphe Maerschalk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yens Verdonckt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Yens Verdonckt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolphe Maerschalk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Stabroek players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
