Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brandheide's Richmond Van der Meiren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Brandheide from getting a goal against them. Lorenzo Van Leemputten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brandheide's goalkeeper Richmond Van der Meiren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Brandheide booed when R.Standard Liège was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Van Leemputten didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ludo Koens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Louis De Baere's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gert-Jan Goens was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diederik Pelegrims got free with Richmond Van der Meiren in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dreas Preuveneer fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brandheide's protests and gave Dreas Preuveneer a yellow card for diving instead. 29 minutes into the match, R.Standard Liège's goal looked a bit too open when Ludo Koens came free, but Gert-Jan Goens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Louis De Baere came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Brandheide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis De Baere couldn't finish the play. Roger Vuerinx charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Vuerinx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diederik Pelegrims in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Richmond Van der Meiren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Brandheide. Cedrik Van Riel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gert-Jan Goens. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas De Koster to make the kick off. Richmond Van der Meiren came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by R.Standard Liège's Tomas De Koster. But to his dismay, Tomas De Koster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Louis De Baere kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gert-Jan Goens. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. Louis De Baere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert-Jan Goens having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Louis De Baere recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gert-Jan Goens. Louis De Baere showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, R.Standard Liège's Roger Vuerinx got a free kick in the 67th minute. A hard shot 69 in the game by Ludo Koens from a close distance when the talented Gert-Jan Goens managed to make a qualified save. R.Standard Liège's players were relieved. Diederik Pelegrims took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richmond Van der Meiren. Richmond Van der Meiren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After having played for 83 minutes, Louis De Baere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brandheide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis De Baere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorenzo Van Leemputten kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Louis De Baere spun around in front of the goal 86 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of R.Standard Liège's goal. After a rather tough play, R.Standard Liège's Roger Vuerinx got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Ludo Koens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The R.Standard Liège supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brandheide's performance. The match ended with a win for Brandheide.
