Aiseau-Presles's Yannik Van Eersel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Gert-Jan Goens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannik Van Eersel in the 19th minute of the match. Gert-Jan Goens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannik Van Eersel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yannik Van Eersel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, R.Standard Liège's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Goens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carel Maertens. Gert-Jan Goens was a little too slow when Yannik Van Eersel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas De Koster during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, R.Standard Liège was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas De Koster to maneuver through the defense. R.Standard Liège's Gert-Jan Goens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannik Van Eersel in the 39th minute of play. Yannik Van Eersel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert-Jan Goens having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, R.Standard Liège was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Vuerinx to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Aiseau-Presles got a freekick which was hit by Corneel Schollens. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas De Koster to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Sander De Vlaeminck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert-Jan Goens skillfully saved the ball. Yannik Van Eersel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Corneel Schollens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas De Koster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert-Jan Goens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannik Van Eersel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tijs Frederickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas De Koster, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Roger Vuerinx kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Brecht De kaiser was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Yannik Van Eersel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aiseau-Presles booed when R.Standard Liège was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Vuerinx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert-Jan Goens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneel Schollens, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carel Maertens in the 95th minute of play forced R.Standard Liège's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Goens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carel Maertens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aiseau-Presles fully deserved thier win.
