When Remi de Pelsmacker came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the mattiasfc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remi de Pelsmacker couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Yens Van de Goor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Christoph Bauwmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yens Van de Goor having to interfere. Joeri Dobbeleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedrik Langendonck having to interfere. Jean Camps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. In the 42nd minute, Remi de Pelsmacker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Juve's Yens Van de Goor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Bauwmans in the 44th minute of play. If Joeri Dobbeleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes mattiasfc got a freekick which was hit by Jorden De Ceuster. After taking down the ball on FC Juve's corner Jules Clijsters fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cedrik Langendonck quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christoph Bauwmans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Juve's Jean Camps got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jean Camps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Joeri Dobbeleir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cedrik Langendonck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Camps in the 96th minute of play forced mattiasfc's goalkeeper Cedrik Langendonck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jean Camps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
