Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilian vrolix kicked off to start the match. A collision led to SK Stenenbrug getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gilian vrolix hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, SK Stenenbrug's goalkeeper Jose Balckmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinard Weynants. Reinard Weynants could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Jose Balckmans made a huge save. After 11 minutes, Charles-Antoine Vrolijcx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amel and the SK Stenenbrug players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Amel got a freekick which was hit by Charles-Antoine Vrolijcx. In the 21st minute, Timmy De Groot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jose Balckmans. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Reinard Weynants managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinard Weynants was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Amel's Reinard Weynants sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Balckmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Balckmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy De Groot, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Reinard Weynantss short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Jose Balckmans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christoph Leenders kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Timmy De Groot was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Amel's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Reinard Weynants scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Balckmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinard Weynants received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jose Balckmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoph Leenders charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoph Leenders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Amel booed when SK Stenenbrug was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoph Leenders didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timmy De Groot was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Timmy De Groot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Balckmans having to interfere. The Amel fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Amel's Timmy De Groot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timmy De Groot was the one to do the kick off. Jose Balckmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinard Weynants in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Amel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy De Groot to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, SK Stenenbrug's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy De Groot came free, but Jose Balckmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Timmy De Groot sped through SK Stenenbrug's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jose Balckmans. Timmy De Groot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Martijn Leroy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Stenenbrug's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amel the free kick. The supporters of Amel booed when SK Stenenbrug was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martijn Leroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Timmy De Groot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Jose Balckmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinard Weynants in the 77th minute of play. Charles-Antoine Vrolijcx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jose Balckmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play SK Stenenbrug's Christoph Leenders was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 83rd match minute, SK Stenenbrug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Leenders to maneuver through the defense. When Charles-Antoine Vrolijcx was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. Jose Balckmans came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Amel's Reinard Weynants. But to his dismay, Reinard Weynants quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. If Ivan Van Den Broeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the game, Miguel Van Haeght was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Stenenbrug's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amel the free kick. In the 100th match minute, SK Stenenbrug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Van Haeght to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the SK Stenenbrug defense, Ivan Van Den Broeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Balckmans. The SK Stenenbrug fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Balckmans should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Amel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
