Jasper Voorhof struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Geoffry Pieters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FMM. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Voorhof in the 16th minute of play forced KVSK Hulseinde's goalkeeper Geoffry Pieters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FMM's Jasper Voorhof got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolf Simons in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geoffry Pieters saved KVSK Hulseinde from getting behind. Geoffry Pieters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Simons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geoffry Pieters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolf Simons's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasper Voorhof got free with Geoffry Pieters in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geoffry Pieters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Simons in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jasper Voorhof managed to get in a good position for a shot. FMM's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Voorhof was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geoffry Pieters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Jasper Voorhof got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolf Simons stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geoffry Pieters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Voorhof in the 71st minute of the match. Geoffry Pieters didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolf Simons went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Rolf Simons had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geoffry Pieters. KVSK Hulseinde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolf Simons was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Geoffry Pieters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Simons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The KVSK Hulseinde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geoffry Pieters should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rolf Simons managed to get in a good position for a shot. FMM's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Simons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geoffry Pieters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FMM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
