Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Delcomte started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Soren de Neuyter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geoffry Pieters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frank Delcomte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Van Gorp charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kent Van Gorp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Java was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Van Gorp to maneuver through the defense. Frank Delcomte was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 18 minutes of play Java's Kent Van Gorp was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 19th match minute, Java was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Van Gorp to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, one of Java:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Steff Neef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Joannes Montens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francois Custermans in the 38th minute of play forced KVSK Hulseinde's goalkeeper Geoffry Pieters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Java's goalkeeper Joannes Montens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steff Neef. Frank Delcomte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joannes Montens having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Vicente De Lauw fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KVSK Hulseinde's protests and gave Vicente De Lauw a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Vicente De Lauw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francois Custermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Geoffry Pieters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, KVSK Hulseinde's goalkeeper Geoffry Pieters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francois Custermans. When KVSK Hulseinde's Frank Delcomte in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Java's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steff Neef in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joannes Montens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joannes Montens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Delcomte's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 69 minutes, Soren de Neuyter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Java and the KVSK Hulseinde players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Java got a freekick which was hit by Soren de Neuyter. Tibo Kerkhove, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Steff Neef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Joannes Montens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joannes Montens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Delcomte in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to KVSK Hulseinde getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jacky Peten hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Tibo Kerkhove was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KVSK Hulseinde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Java the free kick. Bernd Emeleers's late challenge caught a KVSK Hulseinde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernd Emeleers helped the player get up and apologised. Bernd Emeleers kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steff Neef in the 87th minute of play forced Java's goalkeeper Joannes Montens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Java's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Delcomte came free, but Joannes Montens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Frank Delcomte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joannes Montens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. KVSK Hulseinde's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
