Bob Geijselinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Van Der Veecken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Delcomte, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Steff Neef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Bob Geijselinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geoffry Pieters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cederic Van Goethem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KVSK Hulseinde's zone, Cederic Van Goethem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geoffry Pieters came out of the goal and Cederic Van Goethem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bob Geijselinx scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geoffry Pieters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Alphonse Jenken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stephen Van Daelen hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Geoffry Pieters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cederic Van Goethem in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Kemzeke booed when KVSK Hulseinde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente De Lauw didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kemzeke's Sebbe Weygaers tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kemzeke's Cederic Van Goethem got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Delcomte made a kick off. Steff Neef struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Isaac Van Der Veecken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVSK Hulseinde. In the 80th match minute, KVSK Hulseinde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente De Lauw to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Bob Geijselinx put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Geoffry Pieters. Cederic Van Goethem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cederic Van Goethem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Delcomte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Kemzeke left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KVSK Hulseinde.
