Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Geert Claes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tommy de Reyck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Maarten Eijkens having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corneel Ramps during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Corneel Ramps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benne Decock came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Gossii United 1875´ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benne Decock couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Gossii United 1875´'s Geert Claes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederic De Vlaeminck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alphonse Sutens kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Geert Claes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of KFC Eendracht Zelem booed when Gossii United 1875´ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Lambrechs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gossii United 1875´'s goalkeeper Pieter-Maarten Eijkens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy de Reyck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pieter-Maarten Eijkens having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, Gossii United 1875´'s goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Maerschalckx came free, but Pieter-Maarten Eijkens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tommy Maerschalckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gossii United 1875´'s Joeri Van Goitsenhoven got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Tommy Maerschalckx struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Pieter-Maarten Eijkens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Eendracht Zelem. After 45 minutes, Bobby Van Eijken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gossii United 1875´ and the KFC Eendracht Zelem players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KFC Eendracht Zelem booed when Gossii United 1875´ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Van Eijken didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gossii United 1875´'s goalkeeper Pieter-Maarten Eijkens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Willem Van Acker fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gossii United 1875´'s protests and gave Willem Van Acker a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Gossii United 1875´ got a freekick which was hit by Willem Van Acker. KFC Eendracht Zelem were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Gossii United 1875´'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Van Meerbeec took the corner. Roger Van Meerbeec made a great header on KFC Eendracht Zelem's corner, it was just that Gossii United 1875´'s Pieter-Maarten Eijkens managed to reach the ball for a save. Tommy de Reyck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benne Decock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Benne Decock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geert Claes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederic De Vlaeminck having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Tommy de Reyck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Eendracht Zelem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee gave Gossii United 1875´ a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Lambrechs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KFC Eendracht Zelem's Frederic De Vlaeminck. 3-1. After 90 played minutes KFC Eendracht Zelem got a freekick which was hit by Alphonse Sutens. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Geert Claes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gossii United 1875´'s supporters rose to their feet, but Geert Claes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederic De Vlaeminck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pieter-Maarten Eijkens came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Eendracht Zelem's Tommy de Reyck. But to his dismay, Tommy de Reyck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the KFC Eendracht Zelem players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gossii United 1875´.
