Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Gaetan Acke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wauveringen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaetan Acke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeffery Deconynck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaetan Acke's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Adam Van Herck charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Van Herck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Wauveringen got a freekick which was hit by Adam Van Herck. Laurend Van Bombergen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jacq Slegers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, one of Wauveringen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Geluwe. Dimitri Delamenin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacq Slegers. 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Geluwe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitri Delamenin to maneuver through the defense. Tristan Moerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeffery Deconynck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tristan Moerman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaetan Acke in the 22nd minute of play forced Geluwe's goalkeeper Jeffery Deconynck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Geluwe's Laurend Van Bombergen in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wauveringen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th match minute, Wauveringen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik-Jan Vermeiren to maneuver through the defense. When Regis Moreau came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Geluwe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Regis Moreau couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaetan Acke to strike the kick off in the second half. If Laurend Van Bombergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes, Geluwe's Alexander Winnepennincks shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacq Slegers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geluwe reached it. Regis Moreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Laurend Van Bombergen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacq Slegers was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Regis Moreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacq Slegers having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 67th minute when Laurend Van Bombergen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Wauveringen's zone, Regis Moreau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacq Slegers came out of the goal and Regis Moreau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Jeffery Deconynck managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Wauveringen's Mathias-Alexander Degraef fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gaetan Acke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffery Deconynck having to interfere. Jacq Gyselinckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wauveringen's Jacq Slegers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Regis Moreau in the 94th minute of play.
