Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Geoffrey Dhondt made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience was convinced that Ief De Vos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremie Verheijd was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Fred De Middeleer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastien Steckens having to interfere. Fred De Middeleer might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastien Steckens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred De Middeleer ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fred De Middeleer came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Golden Storm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred De Middeleer couldn't finish the play. When Fred De Middeleer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sebastien Steckens was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Fred De Middeleer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastien Steckens. FC CONGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred De Middeleer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 31st minute, Louis De Baere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred De Middeleer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Sebastien Steckens made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Dhondt in the 43rd minute of play forced FC CONGO's goalkeeper Sebastien Steckens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Cempeners sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis De Baere to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, FC CONGO's William Van Leemputte made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremie Verheijd was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, FC CONGO's Jeremie Verheijd threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Louis De Baere, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Louis De Baere scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremie Verheijd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yanniek Louis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Sebastien Steckens came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Golden Storm's Fred De Middeleer. But to his dismay, Fred De Middeleer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 74 minutes into the game, Lars Abrams was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Golden Storm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC CONGO the free kick. Geoffrey Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastien Steckens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffrey Dhondt, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. FC CONGO's Sebastien Steckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffrey Dhondt in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Geoffrey Dhondt made a precise shot to the right of Sebastien Steckens. FC CONGO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Sebastien Steckens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred De Middeleer in the 92nd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Geoffrey Dhondt in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the referee ended the match the FC Golden Storm players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
