Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tuur Hally got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of KVC Berchem booed when Vinkwijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qwinten Declercq didn't get a good kick on the ball. KVC Berchem's Will Wyfliets got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Matias Van der Roost sped through Vinkwijk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lenny Vrolijcx. 14 minutes into the match, Benny Vanden Broucke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannes Delamenin. KVC Berchem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benny Vanden Broucke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jannes Delamenin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Vanden Broucke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Tuur Hally who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinkwijk's Lenny Vrolijcx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Gillis Decaluwe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Van der Roost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Vrolijcx having to interfere. Emile Isemborgh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Lenny Vrolijcx made a huge save. Lenny Vrolijcx came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by KVC Berchem's Tuur Hally. But to his dismay, Tuur Hally quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 40 minutes into the match, Vinkwijk's goalkeeper Lenny Vrolijcx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Wyfliets. Benjamin Rijniers took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenny Vrolijcx. Lenny Vrolijcx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Benjamin Rijniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Vrolijcx having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glenn Neesens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tuur Hally came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the KVC Berchem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuur Hally couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Matias Van der Roost's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenny Vrolijcx was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Van der Roost in the 55th minute of play forced Vinkwijk's goalkeeper Lenny Vrolijcx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tuur Hally in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenny Vrolijcx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60thth minute of the game Matias Van der Roost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinkwijk's Lenny Vrolijcx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, KVC Berchem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benny Vanden Broucke fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the KVC Berchem defense, Benny Vanden Broucke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jannes Delamenin. The KVC Berchem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jannes Delamenin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Vinkwijk getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Qwinten Declercq hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, KVC Berchem's goalkeeper Jannes Delamenin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benny Vanden Broucke. In the 71st minute, Will Wyfliets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Matias Van der Roost notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Vinkwijk's Lenny Vrolijcx. Lenny Vrolijcx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Emile Isemborgh came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the KVC Berchem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emile Isemborgh couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vinkwijk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave KVC Berchem a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tuur Hally, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vinkwijk's Lenny Vrolijcx. 6-2. Emile Isemborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lenny Vrolijcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emile Isemborgh, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Will Wyfliets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lenny Vrolijcx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jannes Delamenin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glenn Neesens, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After a rather tough play, Vinkwijk's Qwinten Declercq got a free kick in the 97th minute.
