In the 7thth minute of the game Arthur-Maurits Boffin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laarnehoek's Terry Schoenmaekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Arthur-Maurits Boffin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 11 minutes of play, Bierges's Giovanni Jooris made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Terry Schoenmaekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Norbert Imbrechs fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bierges's protests and gave Norbert Imbrechs a yellow card for diving instead. Norbert Imbrechs hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Giovanni Jooris struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Terry Schoenmaekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bierges. Fredrik Wijgaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terry Schoenmaekers was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Giovanni Jooris capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giovanni Jooris really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Arthur-Maurits Boffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thys Verdun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tommi De Brouwer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommi De Brouwer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fredrik Wijgaert went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thys Verdun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommi De Brouwer having to interfere.

The wind increased when Fredrik Wijgaert made the kick off in the second half. Tommi De Brouwer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Wijgaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thys Verdun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommi De Brouwer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 55th play minutes Arthur-Maurits Boffin shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Terry Schoenmaekers and just under the crossbar into goal. Laarnehoek's Terry Schoenmaekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur-Maurits Boffin in the 60th minute of play. Thys Verdun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommi De Brouwer having to interfere. Arthur-Maurits Boffin might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Terry Schoenmaekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthur-Maurits Boffin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Giovanni Jooris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Ritchie Van Der Weghen hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Laarnehoek's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Jooris came free, but Terry Schoenmaekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Laarnehoek's Fredrik Wijgaert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommi De Brouwer. Tommi De Brouwer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bierges fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laarnehoek had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
