The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dennis Cortens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Ramon vrolijx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Marc Vervaet could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Rolf Van Der Meren however easily saved by the left post. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Thoricourt would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
