Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pieter-Jan Jennis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, KV Corbion's Joseph Beets got a free kick in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in 2860 Rechtsback's zone, Pieter-Jan Jennis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauren Van de cauter came out of the goal and Pieter-Jan Jennis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Geert De Rudder got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nestor Suteweij charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Suteweij the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, 2860 Rechtsback was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Suteweij to maneuver through the defense. 2860 Rechtsback's Lauren Van de cauter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter-Jan Jennis in the 20th minute of play. Roland Verhulst charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Verhulst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes 2860 Rechtsback got a freekick which was hit by Roland Verhulst. Raf Borglevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pieter-Jan Jennis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauren Van de cauter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Jennis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pieter-Jan Jennis in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauren Van de cauter saved 2860 Rechtsback from getting behind. Nestor Suteweij kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pieter-Jan Jennis in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauren Van de cauter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raf Borglevens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Wigghers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kobe Winnepennincks having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 64 minutes, Pieter-Jan Jennis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Corbion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter-Jan Jennis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Cesar Pelsmaeker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Pieter-Jan Jennis rounded 2860 Rechtsback's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as KV Corbion's Pieter-Jan Jennis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lauren Van de cauter. That made the score 0-3 after 78 minutes of play. Lauren Van de cauter didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Pieter-Jan Jennis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 91st minute Pieter-Jan Jennis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauren Van de cauter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieter-Jan Jennis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over KV Corbion could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 2860 Rechtsback throughout the match.
