Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tobias Du Sausois took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Guido Lievens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 6 minutes of play, SC Brielen's Guido Lievens made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danny Van Linthoudt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danny Van Linthoudt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Lievens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Club Pesche's Rudi Van dooren got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Guido Lievens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Guido Lievens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Van Linthoudt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Lievens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Van Linthoudt having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Danny Van Achtens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danny Van Linthoudt. Club Pesche's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danny Van Achtens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, Tobias Du Sausois lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Aaron Vansteenbrugge. Danny Van Achtens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Club Pesche's Rudi Van dooren got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Tobias Du Sausois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st play minute Alek Godts came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aaron Vansteenbrugge. 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Lievens got free with Danny Van Linthoudt in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 played minutes Club Pesche got a freekick which was hit by Rudi Van dooren. After a defensive mix-up in Club Pesche's zone, Danny Van Achtens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Van Linthoudt came out of the goal and Danny Van Achtens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danny Van Linthoudt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Van Achtens in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Pesche's zone, Guido Lievens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Van Linthoudt came out of the goal and Guido Lievens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Alek Godts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Brielen's Aaron Vansteenbrugge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, SC Brielen's Guido Lievens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danny Van Linthoudt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The supporters of SC Brielen booed when Club Pesche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudi Van dooren didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Brielen's Aaron Vansteenbrugge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Du Sausois in the 75th minute of play. Guido Lievens took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danny Van Linthoudt. Danny Van Linthoudt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 81st match minute, SC Brielen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Louis Roussel to maneuver through the defense. Danny Van Achtens kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Aaron Vansteenbrugge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Du Sausois's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stef Vanpevenaeyge during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the game, one of Club Pesche:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gerard Huijbrechs placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 91 minutes into the match, SC Brielen's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Du Sausois came free, but Aaron Vansteenbrugge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Du Sausois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Du Sausois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aaron Vansteenbrugge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Van Achtens in the 99th minute of play forced Club Pesche's goalkeeper Danny Van Linthoudt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Brielen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
