After 8 minutes of play, 2860 Rechtsback's Geert De Rudder made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danny Van Linthoudt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tobias Du Sausois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Wigghers in the 24th minute of play forced Club Pesche's goalkeeper Danny Van Linthoudt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Benjamin Wigghers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Danny Van Linthoudt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, 2860 Rechtsback's Cesar Pelsmaeker got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Tobias Du Sausois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Pesche's zone, Geert De Rudder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Van Linthoudt came out of the goal and Geert De Rudder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Tobias Du Sausois made the kick off in the second half. If Benjamin Wigghers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudi Van dooren kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Yves De Smet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geert De Rudder in the 60th minute of play forced Club Pesche's goalkeeper Danny Van Linthoudt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Du Sausois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lauren Van de cauter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Yves De Smet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 2860 Rechtsback's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Pesche the free kick. After 62 played minutes 2860 Rechtsback got a freekick which was hit by Yves De Smet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geert De Rudder in the 65th minute of play forced Club Pesche's goalkeeper Danny Van Linthoudt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Club Pesche got a freekick which was hit by Rudi Van dooren. In the 72nd match minute, 2860 Rechtsback was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Suteweij to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Tobias Du Sausois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Wigghers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Danny Van Linthoudt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 2860 Rechtsback had won after a very even match.
