Pieter-Jan Jennis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Danny Van Achtens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kobe Winnepennincks was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Danny Van Achtens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kobe Winnepennincks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jurgen Cox kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Aaron Vansteenbrugge was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pieter-Jan Jennis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Pieter-Jan Jennis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aaron Vansteenbrugge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danny Van Achtens to make the kick off. If Pieter-Jan Jennis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Pieter-Jan Jennis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, KV Corbion's Gilliam Stuckers got a free kick in the 64th minute. A collision led to KV Corbion getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jurgen Cox hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Pieter-Jan Jennis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Corbion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter-Jan Jennis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pieter-Jan Jennis in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Vansteenbrugge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aaron Vansteenbrugge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurgen Cox in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of KV Corbion booed when SC Brielen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staf Van Dessen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Vansteenbrugge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter-Jan Jennis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pieter-Jan Jennis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Vansteenbrugge having to interfere. If Jurgen Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes SC Brielen got a freekick which was hit by Fabien Goemyne. In the 95th minute Pieter-Jan Jennis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Vansteenbrugge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raf Borglevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KV Corbion were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
