The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacques Kustermans got free with Alfons Lauwers in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Wilfried Van Cauwenbergh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenz Roofhoof. Reggaeton Latino fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfried Van Cauwenbergh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 26th minute, Boudewijn Goffeyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfried Van Cauwenbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roel Van Haeght fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenz Roofhoof having to interfere. Alfons Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacques Kustermans in the 36th minute of the match. If Constantijn Leerbels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenz Roofhoof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert De Wit, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half Antwerpen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roel Van Haeght to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Reggaeton Latino fc got a freekick which was hit by Harrie Van Cruchten. Reggaeton Latino fc's Lorenz Roofhoof proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Reggaeton Latino fc from getting a goal against them. Roel Van Haeght fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenz Roofhoof having to interfere. Mathieu-Maxim Schooters hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Wilfried Van Cauwenbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lorenz Roofhoof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roel Van Haeght fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenz Roofhoof having to interfere. Evert De Wit might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenz Roofhoof. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evert De Wit ran back to his position shaking his head. Roel Van Haeght fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenz Roofhoof having to interfere. Roel Van Haeght was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 74th minute Roel Van Haeght shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenz Roofhoof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roel Van Haeght's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenz Roofhoof read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Roel Van Haeght sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenz Roofhoof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roel Van Haeght in the 90th minute of play. If Jacques Kustermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Antwerpen's goal looked a bit too open when Constantijn Leerbels came free, but Alfons Lauwers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
