Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jonas Vanderhaege made the kick off which started today's match. Adam Matthieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Knutsegem's goal looked a bit too open when Xander Van Bostraeten came free, but Loui Wouters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Godts's late challenge caught a Forza Wontergem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Godts helped the player get up and apologised. Forza Wontergem's Ben Schaerlaekens shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Loui Wouters but with some difficulty. Loui Wouters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xander Van Bostraeten in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Jonas Vanderhaege cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Florian Sielis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florian Sielis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Heirpoel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Sielis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Vanderhaege in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sem Baele during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Forza Wontergem's Florian Sielis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Heirpoel in the 23rd minute of play. Xander Van Bostraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loui Wouters having to interfere. Evert Jennes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Knutsegem's Loui Wouters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Knutsegem from getting a goal against them. Leo De Maesschalck charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo De Maesschalck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Knutsegem getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Leo De Maesschalck hit a great ball. If Xander Van Bostraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Knutsegem defense, Adam Matthieu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loui Wouters. The Knutsegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loui Wouters should have stopped the shot. Florian Sielis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Heirpoel in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Xander Van Bostraeten made the kick off in the second half. Loui Wouters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xander Van Bostraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Xander Van Bostraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loui Wouters was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Forza Wontergem's Adam Matthieu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loui Wouters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Ernest Van Den Abeele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Knutsegem's Loui Wouters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaud Roscams in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Xander Van Bostraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Wouters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loui Wouters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Matthieu in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Knutsegem's Joachim Van De Broeck got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xander Van Bostraeten in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loui Wouters saved Knutsegem from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Xander Van Bostraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loui Wouters was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Loui Wouters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xander Van Bostraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Sielis came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Knutsegem's Axel Heirpoel. But to his dismay, Axel Heirpoel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Forza Wontergem manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Knutsegem to win.
