Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dave De Prins made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Pomptje's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Lijsens came free, but Jorge Maerschalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes in the game, Sven Ketelers fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Basiel De Witte having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Lijsens in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Maerschalk saved Pomptje from getting behind. After 24 minutes, Florian De Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Westbeke and the Pomptje players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pomptje booed when FC Westbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian De Beck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pomptje's Douglas Van Boeckost got a free kick in the 25th minute. FC Westbeke's Basiel De Witte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave De Prins in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Pomptje's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Lijsens came free, but Jorge Maerschalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Sven Ketelers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basiel De Witte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giovanni Lijsens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pierre-Paul Vits during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pierre-Paul Vits hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dave De Prins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pomptje's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave De Prins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basiel De Witte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basiel De Witte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Ketelers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sven Ketelers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eric Van Linthaudt kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Pomptje's Jorge Maerschalk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pomptje from getting a goal against them. Arthur Bogaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Jorge Maerschalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Lijsens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basiel De Witte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Ketelers in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Giovanni Lijsens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Maerschalk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pomptje's Sven Ketelers got a free kick in the 69th minute. Remie Aelgoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Maerschalk having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Giovanni Lijsens notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pomptje's Jorge Maerschalk. Jorge Maerschalk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in FC Westbeke's zone, Dave De Prins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basiel De Witte came out of the goal and Dave De Prins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Antonio Bruyninckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sven Ketelers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave De Prins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Remie Aelgoet managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Westbeke's supporters rose to their feet, but Remie Aelgoet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Maerschalk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remie Aelgoet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remie Aelgoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Maerschalk having to interfere. The Pomptje supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Westbeke's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Westbeke.
